West Coast Swing Theory
Our theory workshops focus on the core movements of WCS and how each of these movements truly works to create the amalgamations and pattern structures we see on today's dance floor. Topics covered include movement structure, application of turn, use of hand positions and use of body positions throughout the movement. Dancers will leave the workshop with a fundamental understanding of how to use the movement to it's fullest potential within their WCS.

You'll walk away from this class with a true understanding of how to use turn within WCS. Imagine knowing the answers and applications for these questions and many more! What type of turn do we use in WCS? How do I lead turn correctly? Where should I spot and why does it make a HUGE difference? What's the difference between spin and turn? How do I lead and follow both spin and turn and when is the best time to use one over the other?

This one is just a fun, exciting pattern class that focuses on cool stuff to do with the feet. Taught with our signature pattern building style, we take the core movements of WCS and turn them into cool moves where the feet are flyin!
